Shipping policy
Where I ship
I ship across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO addresses.
International shipping isn't available yet — I'm a one-person operation and customs paperwork is a bigger lift than I can handle right now. If you're outside the US and want a candle, send me an email and we'll figure something out together.
Processing time
Every candle is poured by hand in small batches, so each order takes a few days to leave the studio.
- Standard processing: 2–4 business days from when you place the order to when it ships.
- Markets and busy weeks: if I'm at a farmers market or coming off a launch, processing may stretch to 5–7 business days. I'll email you if anything's running long.
You'll get a tracking email the moment your package leaves Cumming, Georgia.
Shipping options and rates
I ship via USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground, and FedEx Home Delivery depending on weight, destination, and carrier reliability that week. Rates are calculated at checkout based on your address and package weight.
- Free shipping on US orders over $50.
- Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days after shipping.
If you need something faster — a last-minute gift, a birthday, anything — email me before you order and I'll see what I can do with expedited options.
Hot-weather shipping
Candles melt. From roughly late May through early September, USPS and UPS trucks routinely hit interior temperatures above 100°F — especially in the South and Southwest. To protect your candle:
- I monitor forecast highs along your delivery route. If the forecast looks rough, I'll proactively hold your shipment a few days and email you to let you know.
- You can request a hold at checkout (notes field) or by email — just say "hold for cooler weather" and I'll wait until the forecast cooperates.
- Cold-pack add-on coming. A $3 insulated mailer option will be available before summer 2026 peaks. If you're shipping to a hot zip and don't see it yet, just email.
If your candle arrives melted, deformed, or with the wax separated from the vessel — even if it was due to heat in transit, not packaging — I cover it. See the refund policy or just email me.
Lost, late, or damaged packages
Once a package leaves the studio it's in the carrier's hands, but I treat carrier problems as my problems.
- Damaged in transit: photograph the package and the candle, email me within 7 days of delivery, and I'll send a replacement or refund. No need to ship the damaged item back.
- Lost in transit (no movement for 7+ business days): email me and I'll file a carrier claim on my end. I'll ship you a replacement once the claim is acknowledged.
- Marked delivered but missing: check with neighbors and your front desk first, then email me. I'll work with the carrier and make it right.
Local pickup (Cumming, GA)
If you're in or near Cumming, you can skip shipping and pick up at Moody Brews Cafe in Cumming, Georgia. Choose "Local Pickup" at checkout — I'll email you when your order is ready (usually within 1–2 business days). Bring your order confirmation.
You can also just stop by Moody Brews any time and buy whatever's on the shelf — no online order needed.
Find me at markets
I sell in person at farmers markets and pop-ups across north Atlanta. The full schedule lives on the Find Us page.
Address changes
If you put in the wrong address, email me as fast as you can — andrew@linabloomcandles.com. If the order hasn't shipped, I can update it instantly. If it has, I'll do my best to reroute through the carrier but I can't always.
