Format

Sun-warmed sand, dry herbs, a thread of cool air at the edges. Dry sage and eucalyptus on the inhale, cedar and vetiver in the middle, amber and white musk on the back. Stillness, basically — the candle to light when you actually want the room to get quieter.

Hand-poured in small batches in Cumming, Georgia, in a soy-coconut-apricot-sunflower wax blend. Phthalate-free fragrance, lead-free cotton wick, week-long cure before it ships.

Burn + care

First burn: let the wax pool to the edge (2–3 hrs for 8oz, 3–4 hrs for 12oz) to prevent tunneling.

Every burn: trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting. Max 4 hours at a time. Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains.

How it's made

I pour these in batches of forty at a time. Wax is cooled to the right temperature, fragrance is folded in by hand, wicks are centered with a pencil while the wax sets. The candle you receive was poured in Cumming, Georgia.
